December 3rd: NFL DFS DraftKings Monday Night Football Showdown Advice

Who are we using at captain for tonight’s Monday Night Football NFL DFS action?

Single-Game Slate Rankings (Pricing/ Raw Points)

.) Chris Thompson, WAS ($4,400) – Captain Eligible, highest owned captain for me today. Thompson’s way too cheap, practicing in full, Washington 6-point road underdogs. Chris Thompson is the best play on the slate.

.) Josh Adams, PHI ($8,000) – Captain Eligible, might be a little high on him but he’s at home and is a 6-point favorite. I nearly always will look at the running back. Only  issue with Adams, is injury news. On track to play.

.) Carson Wentz, PHI ($10,600) – Captain Eligible, I won’t have much Wentz at the captain but he can definitely get there as the top overall scorer tonight. He’s got all the weapons and he typically spreads all the volume out well.

.) Zach Ertz, PHI ($11,200) – If you can play the Philadelphia roulette in the passing game then you can play one of them in the captain spot. I cannot. Feel other guys will be involved, but Ertz is still a great safe play in cash games. In tournaments, I’m going to look else where.

.) Colt McCoy, WAS ($8,800) – I like McCoy, Washington in must win spot, might get pulled if things go poorly. Philadelphia has an attackable secondary, I love targeting Quarterbacks against Philadelphia.

.) Golden Tate, PHI ($7,200) – Not in play at the captain position for me but this is week three of Tate and Wentz. Chemistry brewing? I think the Eagles offense is going to struggle until these two get on the same page.

.) Alshon Jeffery, PHI ($8,600) – Matchup isn’t as good as Tate’s but still in play. Alshon could catch two touchdowns over anyone.

.) Josh Doctson, WAS ($6,800) – Eagles secondary is horrible. Usually like targeting outside receivers against the Eagles. Doctson fits the mold for what we are looking for. Plus he’s seen 17 targets over the last two weeks. Just waiting for him to break the big one.

.) Jordan Reed, WAS ($8,200) – I do not like playing Jordan Reed, especially not when he has the “Q” tag next to his name. However, McCoy likes the tight ends and Reed has seen at least six targets in each of the last fives weeks. Cash game playable.

.) Vernon Davis, WAS ($2,400) – Boom/bust play. Davis is still one of the fastest tight ends in the league. He’s too cheap for what he could do against this defense. Although, I do exercise caution with this selection. Do not jam him into your core players, use sprinkles.

.) Adrian Peterson, WAS ($7,400) – Featured back, if Washington beats Philadelphia tonight, Adrian Peterson will be at the center piece and I will lose all of my money for this slate. Take stands, trust Vegas and follow the game script.

.) Dustin Hopkins, WAS ($3,200) – With the Eagles attackable secondary, I love playing their kicker. Hopkins is going to get a bunch of opportunities with McCoy being able to move the ball but struggling in the red zone.

.) Jake Elliott, PHI ($3,400) – I’ll have some lineups with both Kickers. Divisional battle, could be the kicking game.

.) Eagles, PHI ($4,000) – Low scoring game, McCoy makes a bunch of mistakes with the football. The Eagles defense smell blood, this front 7 can get after it.

.) Redskins, WAS ($3,000) – Eagles offense can erupt any week, but they’ve been bad.

.) Corey Clement, PHI ($2,600) – Clement is interesting because Adams is banged up, Smallwood doesn’t play and Sproles is coming back but in limited fashion. Clement could be an elite play if Adams gets banged up mid-game.

.) Trey Quinn, WAS ($5,800) – Washington loves this guy, caught a touchdown last week, plays on special teams. Probably not the spot this week with other receivers coming back, but Quinn’s a name to keep an eye on.
