High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

John Collins (vs GS – $5,300): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. Collins had 29.75 fantasy points against the Thunder on Nov. 30. The Warriors are better than they showed against the Pistons, but their frontcourt is still in shambles with Draymond Green out of the lineup. And Collins has the energy and talent to hurt them in the paint and on the glass. He’s at a good salary given his ability. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else. And a double-double threat.

Mason Plumlee (at TOR – $3,900): Needs 18 fantasy points. Plumlee was down to 17.25 fantasy points against the Blazers. He played just 14 minutes, which is always the concern with Plumlee. The minutes aren’t always there for him, which can limit his value. But when he does play, he can post big numbers. The minutes should be there against the Raptors. Diagnosis: Nice low-cost option who can produce a big game.

Alex Len (vs GS – $3,600): Needs 17 fantasy points. Len was at 22.75 fantasy points in 16 minutes against the Thunder. The minutes aren’t always there for him with the Hawks getting healthy, but he can produce rebounds and points in a hurry. He typically plays well against the Warriors and had 23.75 fantasy points (albeit in 32 minutes) against them earlier this season. Diagnosis: Decent low-cost option, but minutes are a concern.
