2019 NFL Mock Draft: Jets land N’Keal Harry
By Brad Weiss
The Cleveland Browns took on the Houston Texans on Sunday, looking to become the first team to beat Deshaun Watson and company in the last eight games. Unfortunately, the turnover bug bit quarterback Baker Mayfield early, and they could not muster enough to come away with the comeback victory.
Still, this Browns team has really turned a corner this season, and it is partly due to the fact they finally turned the page on head coach Hue Jackson. While Jackson is currently coaching rival Cincinnati, their top pick in 2018, Mayfield, is becoming the leader this franchise has been lacking at the quarterback position since Bernie Kosar.
When it comes time for the Browns to draft in April, they may want to add deensive tackle Ed Oliver, who some believe is a top-3 talent in this draft class. Teaming him on the inside with Larry Ogunjobi would give the Browns a dominant tandem in their 4-3 scheme, and an elite overall unit with Myles Garrett on the outside.
This Cleveland team could be a team to beat in the AFC North next season, as they have a ton of young talent, and they look to have hit on a bunch of their previous draft picks. Oliver is a bit of a wild card heading into the draft, but if he is as good as he looks on tape, he could end up being a special player in the NFL.
