The Duke Blue Devils host the Hartford Hawks on Wednesday night, looking for another blowout win in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The Duke Blue Devils have only played two games since being knocked off by Gonzaga, but Mike Krzyzewski’s team has been dominant in both efforts. After knocking off Indiana handily, they then embarrassed Stetson last week. On Wednesday night, they have another lower-tier team coming to Cameron Indoor Stadium as they face the Hartford Hawks.
In the win over Stetson, it looked truly as if the stars for Duke barely broke a sweat as they were dominating while in cruise control. Zion Williamson, an early favorite for National Player of the Year, truly didn’t have a massive impact. However, RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish were hardly slowed down in that matchup with the Hatters and dominated.
Truthfully, more of the same should be expected from the Duke stars in this matchup against Hartford. Few teams in the country have an answer for the likes of Williamson, Barrett, Reddish and even Tre Jones, but a team like the Hawks truly may not be do anything but watch them tear them to shreds.

Should an unlikely challenge or upset bid be in the cards for the Hartford Hawks, John Carroll and Jason Dunne, the team’s two leading scorers, will need to come up with life-defining performances. Against the speed, size and athleticism of the Blue Devils, though, that seems unlikely.

Considering what Duke just did to another cupcake playing Stetson this past weekend, this could be bad for Hartford. The Blue Devils should continue to roll pretty handily against low-level competition as they look to get into form with ACC play looming in the near future.
