Following games on the weekend, the Premier League has a quick turnaround with midweek games. On Wednesday, Wolves host Chelsea at Molineux Stadium, looking to pick up a win after losing to Cardiff. While Chelsea are looking to build on their win against Fulham over the weekend.

Wolves have had their season go off the rails lately. Over their last six games, Wolves have lost five games and have picked up only one point. While Wolves have struggled, they have played to their level of competition, taking points from Arsenal, Manchester United, and are the only team to take points from Manchester City. However, they have also played down to the level of weaker teams, losing to Huddersfield and Cardiff in their last two games. Wolves supporters are hoping that the team that plays up to their competition shows up Wednesday against Chelsea.

After losing their first game of the season to Tottenham, Chelsea returned over the weekend and beat Fulham 2-0. The Blues are a distant third in the title race, seven points behind Manchester City. However, Chelsea could close the gap on Saturday when they host City at Stamford Bridge. Maurizio Sarri has to make sure his team does not overlook Wolves and ahead to City. Chelsea’s front three has been great this season, with Eden Hazard, Pedro, and Alvaro Morato combining for 17 goals.
