4. Back the Seahawks -3 vs. the Vikings

We’ve been fervent believers in Mike Zimmer’s team for most of the year, but our trust in Minnesota has finally run out. That is why we like Seattle to handle the troublesome Vikings at home on Monday night.

This is one of the few games on this weekend’s slate which means a lot for both teams. The Seahawks are arguably the hottest team in the NFL at the moment. A win over the Vikings will give Pete Carroll’s team a choke hold on one of the NFC Wild Card spots.

The Vikings have the talent to be a real postseason threat, but they just haven’t put things together this season. They limp into this game at 6-5-1. They desperately need a win to keep their own Wild Card hopes alive.

The combination of the home crowd and Russell Wilson makes backing Seattle the obvious play here. The Pro Bowl quarterback will be able to make just enough plays to give his team a one score victory. This won’t be a pretty game, but look for the Seahawks to find the result beautiful.
