DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks December 7

We have unbalanced slates for DraftKings EuroLeague today. We had five games, and a lot of stars, yesterday. What’s left for today? Let’s navigate this three game slate!

More from DFS

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.

Guards:

We don’t have any great matchups to chase at guard today, so I’m inclined to build around the consistency of Vasilije Micic. Micic has at least 25 DraftKings points in seven straight rounds. Nando de Colo is putting up better numbers lately, and Cory Higgins is worth a look as well. The overlooked part of the upper tier lately has been Facundo Campazzo. Campazzo has 73.25 DraftKings points over the last two rounds and has a solid matchup coming against Efes.

Rodrigue Beaubois has topped 30 DraftKings points in three of the last four games. It seems like every time I think about leaving Beaubois out, he comes up with a game like this. When it comes down to it though, i think I would still rather find the $800 to play Micic.

Sergio Rodriguez has been cleared to play, so we are just waiting on the status of Kostas Sloukas. If Sloukas is out, Marko Guduric would be a good pick. However, Guduric himself is questionable. There could be a lot of value or no value in the Fenerbahce backcourt today. If either sit, Ali Muhammad is a must play, especially with Mahmutoglu also out. If both are out, Erick Green should see a big minutes increase.

Matt Janning is finally producing at a rate in which we can play him at this price. This is a good matchup against CSKA here. Jayson Granger is also worth a look. Janning is the higher  upside guy. Granger is more constant.

Keith Langford has been on fire lately with Calathes struggling, but I don’t know that I really want to play either one of them against Fenerbahce. However, if the injuries hold and they are down two guards, I’m jumping in on Langford.

Sergio Llull is back and apparently has no minutes restrictions, but I’m not sure how much I trust this. It shouldn’t affect the output of Campazzo, but Jaycee Carroll becomes much more of a risk. If you are looking for value now, Dogus Balbay looks like the best value pick, but he has had some off round. So has Nikos Pappas. The bad news is that both have tougher matchups tonight.

Forwards:

Both Will Clyburn and Jan Vesely have tough matchups today. I think we can get at least the same production out of Anthony Randolph or Adrien Moerman. Gustavo Ayon is an acceptable pivot off of Randolph, though Randolph is outplaying him right now. I’m not quite ready to trust Shengelia just yet, but he does have the highest upside of any forward on the slate today.

More from FanSided

We have a lot of guys in the $9,000 range today that can help. Vincent Poirier and Bryant Dunston have been the most consistent, but the upside of Rudy Fernandez is promising.

From a DFS perspective there isn’t a lot to like about the Fenerbahce and Athens matchup. However, I do think that James Gist and Nicolo Melli are worth using anyway, Gist more so. They are performing at a solid enough level that I could see them having decent games on a slate when most will ignore them and ride the Real Madrid front.

Darrun Hilliard is my favorite value play on this slate. He is too cheap for the production lately. Hilliard has as great matchup to go with 76.75 DraftKings points over the last four games.

Stephane Lasme and Matt Lojeski continue to be solid bargain options, but only use Lojeski at home. He is averaging six more DraftKings points per game, which is a huge split when his yearly average is 14! They should both see a few more minutes with Papapetrou out.

Johannes Voigtmann has a nice matchup, and he put up 26.25 DraftKings points last round. If Baskonia is going to play him 20 minutes per game, his production is going to go up a lot.
