The annual Army-Navy game welcomed the College GameDay crew to Philadelphia on Saturday, and these were the best signs out in the crowd.

On the final true week of the college football regular season, there’s never a question where the College GameDay crew is headed. With the annual Army-Navy game being played in a week all to its own, that’s where Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and the crew head annually, and rightfully so. And in 2018, that took them to Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday.

Though there are many great things about the Army Knights and Navy Midshipmen and their annual meeting, one of the most underrated parts is the College GameDay atmosphere. Every fan, be it students, service members or veterans, are all exceptionally passionate about the game that will be played later. And it makes for a phenomenal show on ESPN.

What is also often phenomenal are the GameDay signs. Because these fans are so incredibly passionate about this game, the creativity flows through them like the sweetest red wine that you’ve ever tasted. And the result is that the sweetness pours out onto the signs.

Cheesy metaphors aside, the Army-Navy game typically does provide some of the best College GameDay signs of the year. With so much history, with so much respectful rivalry between the two schools and so on, there’s always fodder for these two fanbases to take aim at one another and allow hilarity to ensue.

Was that the case this year, though? Let’s take a look at the best College GameDay signs from the 2018 Army-Navy game:
