Huesca vs. Real Madrid live stream: Watch La Liga online
By Warren Pegg
Huesca face Real Madrid at the Estadio El Alcoraz on Sunday, Dec. 9. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
Huesca’s debut stint in La Liga doesn’t look like it will be a very long one. The coach who brought them into the Spanish top-flight for the first time, Rubi, jumped ship to join Espanyol in the summer. Things started very well for his replacement, former Huesca goalkeeper Leo Franco, with a 1-2 away win over Eibar on the opening day of the season. But the club’s fortunes have been in decline ever since, which led to Franco becoming La Liga’s first managerial casualty this term in early October. New coach Francisco Rodriguez has yet to oversee a single victory in the league, and his side currently sit bottom of the table on only seven points.
One of the biggest issues facing new Real Madrid coach Santiago Solari in recent weeks has been how to fill the gap in central midfield left by Casemiro’s injury-enforced absence. The answer certainly doesn’t seem to be Dani Ceballos, who played there during Madrid’s abject 3-0 loss at Eibar towards the end of November. But a solution now seems to have presented itself in the form of Marcos Llorente.
A product of Madrid’s youth academy, the 23-year-old has impressed first against Roma in the Champions League and again last Saturday when Valencia visited the Bernabeu. The same cannot be said of his team-mate Gareth Bale, however. The Welshman has now gone 10 La Liga matches without a goal, his worst run since moving to Spain in 2013.
