Crystal Palace vs. Leicester live stream: Watch Premier League online
By Adam Stocker
Crystal Palace face Leicester at Selhurst Park on Saturday, Dec. 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.
The Premier League table can be dived into three sections. The top five teams, who will be competing for a Champions League spot. The teams sixth through 13th who are comfortably in the middle of the table and the teams that are 14th and lower, who will be in a relegation battle. Leicester are comfortably in the middle tier with 22 points. On Saturday, the Foxes go to Selhurst Park to play Crystal Palace. The Eagles are in the third tier, with only 12 points, two above the relegation zone.
Palace lost their second straight game, falling 3-2 to West Ham last weekend. Roy Hodgson’s team are middle of the pack defensively, allowing 23 goals but cannot score consistently enough. Only Huddersfield have scored fewer goals than the Eagles. Christian Benteke has not been great over the last season and a half with Palace but his presence has been missed. Without Benteke, Palace are overly reliant on Wilfried Zaha to create chances. Zaha and Luka Milivojevic lead the club with three goals apiece.
Leicester lost 2-0 to Tottenham last weekend. Claude Puel decided to use a 4-3-3 formation for the first time this season against Spurs but it would be surprising to see him stick with that formation. Leicester’s personal are best suited to use a 4-4-2 formation or a 4-2-3-1 formation. The loss ended a six-game unbeaten run for the Foxes. Jamie Vardy did not play against Spurs but is expected to return to the lineup against Palace. Vardy and James Maddison are tied for the club lead with five goals this season.
