Fulham face West Ham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, Dec. 15. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

After 16 games, the Premier League table can be dived into three sections. The top five teams are competing for a Champions League spot next season. The second tier is eight points behind the top five clubs. These teams sit sixth through 13th and are comfortably in the middle of the table. The last seven clubs are seven points behind the middle tier and will be in a relegation battle for most of the season. Fulham are at the bottom of the table but could climb out of the bottom three with a win against West Ham at Craven Cottage on Saturday. The Hammers are 11th with 21 points this season.

Fulham are last in the Premier League for one reason, they cannot stop opposing clubs from scoring. The Cottagers have conceded 40 goals, eight more than the second worst club. West Ham and Stoke also had a poor goal differential at this same time last season. While the Hammers were able to solve their problems under David Moyes, Stoke could not and were relegated. Claudio Ranieri has a lot of work to do if he is going to help Fulham stay up. While Fulham cannot defend, they are able to score goals. Aleksandar Mitrovic and Andre Schurrle have had a strong season up front, combining for 12 goals this season.

West Ham scored three second-half goals to beat Crystal Palace last weekend. The Hammers have won three straight games, scoring three goals in all three games. Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez has really stepped up lately with Marko Arnautovic out with a hamstring injury. Hernandez scored his third goal in as many games last weekend against Palace. Felipe Anderson has also picked up his game, scoring five goals in his last five games. Over that six-game stretch, West Ham picked up 13 of a possible 18 points. Hernandez and Anderson will lead the attack against Fulham as the Hammers look to extend their winning streak to four games.
