Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Saturday night December 15th. Tonight we have a big 9 games slate in the NHL with some good matchups to take advantage of.

Toronto keeps their tour of Florida going with a visit to the Panthers, while we get a NHL DFS matchup of top teams when the Sabres head to the nation’s capital to take on Washington. Dallas travels to Colorado to take on the Av’s who are on the second night of a back to back.

NHL DFS Goalies:

Tonight my top choice in net is John Gibson ($7,400) of Anaheim taking on the Blue Jackets tonight. Gibson has been playing well of late and combined with his terribly low price he makes for a great start in net. Columbus has lost 2 of 3 only scoring 6 goals in their last 3. Gibson has won 7 of his last 9 starts and has a GAA of 2.17 and a .917 SV%, and he has also won his last 2 starts against Columbus allowing only 2 goals in each game.

Carey Price ($8,100) has won 3 straight starts and won 3 of 4 against Ottawa(the only lose being an OT loss) dating back to last season. Price is averaging 5.9 FPPG in his last 3 starts as well.

Some other options I am interested in for Saturday night are Pekka Rinne (8,400), who is pretty much always an option when he starts, Frederik Andersen ($8,000), and who ever starts for the Islanders, both Robin Lehner and Thomas Griess are $7,800.

NHL DFS Top Individual Players:

High Tier

Alex Ovechkin ($8,100) – I know I don’t need to tell you to play Ovechkin, but I am anyway. Ovi has 10 goals in his last 10 games to go along with 6 assists as well. Ovechkin along with TJ Oshie ($6,000) and Nicklas Backstrom ($7,100) make up the Caps top line and make for a high-end stack as well

Jack Eichel ($7,400) – I will stay with the same game here and tell you how amazing Jack Eichel has been playing. Over the Sabres last 10 games Eichel has 14 points (5 goals 9 assists) and is averaging 6.2 FPPG. This game could easily get out of hand and both teams top lines figure to be involved heavily in the scoring.

Claude Giroux ($6,600) –  Giroux has 3 goals and 6 assists over the Flyers previous 5 games and is averaging 6.2 FPPG during that stretch. Giroux centers the Flyers top line with James van Riemsdyk ($4,800) and Travis Konecny ($5,400) against a poor defensive Canucks team which makes this line one of the best and more reasonably priced stack.

Mid Tier

Thomas Chabot ($6,300) – Chabot continues to impress this season, so much so, he almost makes the Senators and their fans forget about Erik KarlssonChabot has 8 goals and 25 assists for 33 points in 32 games and is also averaging 4.7 FPPG.

Shea Weber ($5,800) – Weber has also been a nice surprise for the Canadiens since his return from injury on November 27. In his 8 games Weber has 3 goals and 3 assists while averaging 4.2 FPPG. Weber has jumped right in playing over 25 minute

Elias Pettersson ($5,700) – Pettersson and line mate Brock Boeser ($6,200) make up my favorite mini stack on the night. They are both playing exceptionally well and this is a game that I think could end up 6-5 with two good offenses and 2 bad goalies. Pettersson has 4 goals and 10 assists on his last 10

Value Tier

Nick Ritchie ($4,100) – Ritchie has 11 points (4 goals 7 assists) in just 18 games this season and is currently playing on the Ducks 3rd line and 2nd PP unit.

Anthony Beauvillier ($4,000) – Beauvillier has been somewhat of a disappointment for the Islanders this season with only 9 goals and 2 assists, but he has scored a goal in back to back games and the Islanders hope this is a sign of Beauvillier turning a corner.

Travis Sanheim ($3,500) – Sanheim has 3 goals and an assist in the Flyers last 4 games and is also averaging 4.25 FPPG which is more than double his average on the season.

NHL DFS Top Line Stacks

Anaheim 1 – Pontus AbergRyan GetzlafOndrej Kase

Colorado 1 – Mikko Rantanen – Nathan MacKinnion – Gabriel Landeskoglike you didn’t know

Nashville 2 – Calle JarnkrokKyle TurrisCraig Smith

Pittsburgh 1 or 2 – Last night line 2 was the hot line, but tonight it could be Crosby’s line. I think line 1 gets it done with a Tanner Pearson revenge game.

Florida 1 – Jonathan HuberdeauAleksander BarkovMike Hoffman
