Evan Neal is a mountain of a man when it comes to high school football recruits. At 6’7.5″ and 360 pounds, Neal towers over just about everyone and is the perfect bookend tackle for a program looking to protect their quarterback.

He’s not an individual that is going to be overpowered and his long arms allow him to get a real push against pass rushers. The five-star recruit is one of the most sought-after players available and it’s not a surprise that he got an in-home visit from Alabama head coach Nick Saban.

The Crimson Tide are putting together what could be the top recruiting class in the nation and they clearly have their sights set on adding Neal to the fold. With Alabama reloading along the offensive line with this class, Neal could be the hallmark.

The top inside linebacker recruit is still on the board and is expected to announce where he will be signing his letter of intent to play on early National Signing Day. Nakobe Dean is a 6’0″ and 220-pound inside linebacker that fits the mold of the position.

The SEC has churned out some serious inside linebacker talent for years and it’s no secret the top programs after him are SEC schools. The experts see this race coming down to Georgia and Alabama, which quite frankly is what everything in college football seemingly comes down to now.

The Bulldogs and Crimson Tide have had a strong history of producing great inside linebacker talent such as Roquan Smith, C.J. Mosley, Rashaan Evans and more. The Mississippi product has a tough decision on his hands, but Georgia is expected to add some serious defensive talent on early National Signing Day so it won’t be shocking to see him end up a Bulldog.
