  • High School: Miami Southridge
  • Composite Ranking: No. 38, No. 4 CB
  • Interested Programs: Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Florida, Alabama

Tyrique Stevenson is a physical cornerback with the body of an NFL player already. At 6’0″ and 202 pounds, it’s going to be tough to try and get the muscular advantage on him for a wide receiver. Add in a 4.49 40-yard dash and Stevenson has the potential to be the next big college cornerback.

The race for Stevenson seems to be a two-horse race between Georgia and Miami, according to 247Sports. However, Georgia is seen mainly as the big favorite to land Stevenson and it would be a massive get for Kirby Smart’s defense.

Having a defender like Stevenson on the field as he continues to develop will pay off for any team, especially an SEC one. The Bulldogs are in an arms race with Alabama for the top recruiting class and this would be a massive get for the program.

Scheduled Commitment Time: Jan. 5 12:00 p.m.

Prediction: Georgia

  • High School: Orange Lutheran
  • Composite Ranking: No. 29, No. 5 WR
  • Interested Programs: USC, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Arizona

Quarterback J.T. Daniels might soon have a new weapon to play with. USC is the heavy favorite to land Orange product Kyle Ford. The five-star receiver is 6’2″ and 212 pounds and is ranked as the fifth-best wide receiver recruit in the nation.

With Kliff Kingsbury now in the fold as the Trojans’ offense as offensive coordinator, adding a top receiver talent like Ford to the mix would brighten the future on offense for USC. Ford already is physically built to compete at a higher level.

With his size, it’s going to be tough for most cornerbacks in the Pac-12 to even physically compete with him each play. Having a play-making receiver like Ford to pair with Daniels for their USC tenure would certainly be something for the program to be excited about.
