High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Paul George (vs CHI – $9,800): Needs 40.5 fantasy points. Durant and Giannis headline the SF group, but Giannis doesn’t always play well against the Pistons and Durant’s ceiling is limited (plus the matchup is tough). Then there’s George, who can give you similar value on a lesser salary. If nothing else, he’s going to at least hit value. But with the matchup, expect more. He’s found his shot and he always does a nice job of getting other numbers. There’s no reason to doubt him right now. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup, and very high ceiling.

Danilo Gallinari (vs POR – $7,100): Needs 29.3 fantasy points. After a couple of rough outings, Gallinari had 38.4 fantasy points against the Thunder on Dec. 15. He’s been reliable all season and it was only a matter of time before he returned to form. Both teams are trending down right now, but I’ll continue to trust Gallinari and his scoring and rebounding has been there for most of the season. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling and matchup.

TJ Warren (at NY – $6,800): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. Devin Booker is back in the lineup, but Warren still delivered with 34.5 fantasy points against the Timberwolves. His ceiling is a bit more limited with Booker on the floor, but he has more open space to get his scoring numbers. Scoring should not be an issue against the Knicks because it’s the Knicks and they are on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: High ceiling and it’s the Knicks. Warren will get buckets.
