High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Blake Griffin (vs MIL – $9,500): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. Griffin has turned into a reliable option and we know he has a high ceiling. He had 41.4 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 5. The minutes are there and he can do a bit of everything. The matchup is fine as the Bucks are 16th against the position. Diagnosis: Reliable if nothing else.

Tobias Harris (vs POR – $7,700): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. Much like Gallinari, after a couple of rough outings, Harris bounced back with 34.3 fantasy points. And this is typically his matchup. He’s averaging 43 fantasy points against the Blazers in two games this season and had a big 51.7 fantasy point effort against them on Nov. 25. The scoring and rebounding should be there once again on Monday. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a high ceiling.

Lauri Markkanen (at OKC – $7,000): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. Markkanen had 42.9 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 15. And he had 45.4 fantasy points against the Thunder on Dec. 7. The Thunder have a top defense, but they are weak against the position in DFS terms. Markkanen should be able to find the points and rebounds in this one, although expect the Thunder to pay extra attention to him. Diagnosis: Slight risk, but proven matchup.
