High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Monte Morris (vs DAL – $5,700): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. Morris continues to deliver and there’s no reason to doubt him at this point. The Mavericks are good at home, but Morris is getting plenty of playing time with all the injuries and is still at a very good salary given his current production. He does a bit of everything and has a good scoring ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (at IND – $5,400): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. Clarkson has been over 29 fantasy points in his last three games. The matchup is tough as the Pacers have a top defense, but someone has to score for the Cavaliers. And Clarkson has his own personal green light. He also chips in with rebounds and assists. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, but a good ceiling.

Kevin Huerter (vs WAS – $4,800): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. Hueter was down to 7.2 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 16. It’s a bad number, but he’s a rookie and he’s bound to have those games. The good news is he’s still getting minutes and shots. The matchup is good on Tuesday. It’s always tough being a rookie, but give him this game to bounce back. He’s at a good salary and it’s a slow night. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a high ceiling.
