High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (vs NY – $10,700): Needs 48.2 fantasy points. Embiid was down to 29.7 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 17. Don’t be too concerned. This is his matchup. There’s nothing Embiid loves more than seeing Enes Kanter in front of him. He had 58.3 fantasy points in 30 minutes against the Knicks on Nov. 28. He will feast on this matchup. Diagnosis: Expect a big bounce-back performance because it’s Embiid vs. the Knicks.

Clint Capela (vs WAS – $8,400): Needs 37.9 fantasy points. Capela has been over 40 fantasy points in his last three games. And now he gets the Wizards on a back-to-back. The Rockets are trending up while the Wizards are the Wizards. Capela should get rebounds and easy points against a poor Washington defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Myles Turner (at TOR – $7,100): Needs 32 fantasy points. Turner had 38 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Tuesday. The Raptors are not only a good matchup, but they could be without all of their key frontcourt rotation pieces. If that ends up being the case, Turner should have no problem getting his points and rebounds in this one while chipping in with defensive plays. Diagnosis: Good matchup due to injuries and a high ceiling
