FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 19, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
James Harden (vs WAS – $11,600): Needs 48.1 fantasy points. There’s no reason to doubt Harden at this point. He’s been over 70 fantasy points in two of his last three and in the game where he wasn’t over 70 fantasy points, he had 62.4 fantasy points. He’s making it look easy and now he gets the Wizards on a back-to-back. They won’t have an answer for him. No one has an answer for him. Diagnosis: Great matchup and it’s Harden, who can’t be stopped right now.
Jrue Holiday (at MIL – $8,900): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. Holiday had 39.4 fantasy points against the Heat on Dec. 16. He’s been very strong this season, hitting value in 81 percent of games. With the injuries to the Pelicans, it’s going to be the Davis and Holiday show on Wednesday. Knowing that going in, you should expect a big game out of him. Either he’s going to get points or he’s going to set up points. The matchup is good. Diagnosis: Great set of circumstances and always reliable. Love him on Wednesday.
Devin Booker (at BOS – $8,600): Needs 35.7 fantasy points. Booker has not only looked good in the two games since returning from injury but now he gets to face the Celtics. This is just his matchup. It doesn’t matter how good the Celtics defense is, Booker just delivers. He had 58.1 fantasy points against the Celtics on Nov. 8. Marcus Smart will make it tough on him, but Booker loves this matchup. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, but a proven one for Booker.
