FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 19, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kawhi Leonard (vs IND – $9,700): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting from Leonard. He had 47.8 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Dec. 16. With Lowry out of the lineup, he’s the top option and if guys like Ibaka and Siakam are ailing as well, that just puts more pressure on Kawhi. The matchup is tough, but the Pacers are on a back-to-back. And Leonard is very reliable. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Paul George (at SAC – $9,400): Needs 39 fantasy points. Much like Leonard, you know exactly what you’re getting from George. He had 45.6 fantasy points against the Bulls in 31 minutes. He’s red hot right now and shows no signs of slowing down. Until his shot falls off, trust him to keep scoring while chipping in with rebounds, assists and defensive numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable and a high ceiling.
TJ Warren (at BOS – $7,100): Needs 29.4 fantasy points. Warren continues to deliver and was up to 47.5 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 17. The Celtics are a tough matchup, but Warren did deliver with 44.9 fantasy points against them on Nov. 8. He and Booker have been doing the bulk of the scoring and he’s red hot right now. Giannis and Durant are going to get a lot of attention, but there are some strong players at small forward. Diagnosis: Hot, good ceiling, tough but proven matchup.
