Quarterback: Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings

@ Detroit Lions, Sunday 1:00pm

FanDuel Cost: $7,600

The Minnesota Vikings are fighting for their playoff lives and this week will need Kirk Cousins to bring his A game. Cousins is going through a bit of a rough patch, but it’s important to note the poor play of Minnesota’s offensive line.

Last week, the Vikings were able to establish a strong running attack led by Dalvin Cook. This helped take some pressure off of Cousins.

The Lions have a solid overall defense, but it’s time for Cousins to show why he commanded such a big contract. Minnesota will be leaning on their franchise quarterback to lead this team to an important victory.

Backup Option: Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sunday 1:00pm

FanDuel Cost: $7,300

Dak Prescott was on fire up until last week’s terrible performance against the Indianapolis Colts. We were all hesitant to believe that Prescott’s surge was completely for real and now we should hesitate to judge after a down game.

This week Prescott faces a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that is allowing nearly 260 passing yards per game. The Cowboys are in solid playoff position, but still have some work to do. They need Prescott to get back into form and that starts by getting the ball into Amari Cooper’s hands.
