The huge question is whether or not he plays.  He missed the last game of the regular season but has made progress and is officially probable tonight.  At home (this game is being played in Tampa) he has averaged 259 YPG and boasts over 28 DK PPG, with a 36/15 ceiling/floor.  He can rush for TD’s as well.

Back-up Chris Oladokun threw for 77 and 165 yards in his 2 starts with 3/1 TD/INT and an average passer rating of 131 – If Barnett starts the passing edge goes to South Florida.

Brenden Knox  (Marshall)

Played only in the final 4 games but averaged over 121 YPG with 3 TD’s.  He is the feature back and the offense will run thru him.

Johnny Ford and Jordan Cronkrite  (USF)

Both will get carries with Johnny Ford featured slightly more.  On the year Ford posted 14.6 DK PPG while Cronkrite posted 16.8, with Ford having a great last game earning 27 DK points.

Tyre Brady  (Marshall)

The expensive feature receiver with a 39.2 ceiling and virtually a zero floor.  If you’re playing multiple line-ups, play and fade.

Armani Levias, Obi Obialo, Marcel Williams, Xavier Gaines (Marshall)

Low priced options that can surprise.  Levias is not on the official depth chart yet he outpaced all receivers in their last game, and 5 games ago Williams posted 23.9 DK points only to follow that up with a 3 DK PPG average.

Tyre McCants and Mitchell Wilcox (USF)

In the small sample we have, stack McCants with Barnett or if Oladokun is starting stack him with Wilcox.

Line Analysis and Game Prediction:

Marshall opened as a 2 point favorite and is currently rising, reaching 3 1/2 slightly before noon Eastern time, possibly going to 4 later.  The question around USF QB Barnett’s health is playing a part, with 67% of the bets coming in on Marshall.  Fade this move.  Opening at 2, the island books are not in the habit of giving away money.
