High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Blake Griffin (at CHA – $9,400): Needs 44.5 fantasy points. Griffin has turned into a reliable option and he’s been over 50 fantasy points in three of his last four games. He had 53 fantasy points against the Hornets on Dec. 12. He does a bit of everything and is reliable with his scoring and rebounding. He’s a double-double threat and the matchup is very good. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (at CHI – $9,200): Needs 43.8 fantasy points. Vucevic had 51.25 fantasy points in 30 minutes against the Jazz on Dec. 15. And now he gets the Bulls. He had 49.5 fantasy points against them on Dec. 13. This should be a huge scoring and rebounding night for Vucevic. And he’ll chip in with some assists. Diagnosis: High ceiling. Trust the matchup. It’s the Bulls.

Myles Turner (at BKN – $7,300): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. Turner had 42 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Raptors on Dec. 19. The Nets are playing very well right now, but they are weak against the position. And Turner has been playing very well during this recent stretch. He’s averaging 39.3 fantasy points in his last five games against the Nets. Diagnosis: Proven matchup, reliable, and a high ceiling.
