High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Anthony Davis (at LAL – $11,700): Needs 55.4 fantasy points. Davis had 57.25 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Bucks. That’s….nuts. He left the game with an injury scare but looks good to go against the Lakers. And perhaps you’ve heard the rumors tying him to Lakers. It’s tough to block that stuff out, but Davis strikes me as a guy who wants to show he’s happy with his current team. Or he wants to boost his own trade value. Either way, Davis is as trustworthy as they come. Diagnosis: Reliable and he’s Anthony Davis. The Lakers will have no answer for him. Which is why they want him.

John Collins (at NY – $7,800): Needs 36.9 fantasy points. Collin has been over 40 fantasy points in six of his last seven games. Even in limited minutes, he’s been posting strong games. You can pretty much guarantee a double-double with him right now. And he gets the Knicks. He should have another big game on Friday. Diagnosis: Reliable, high ceiling, and the Knicks.

Kyle Kuzma (vs NO – $7,200): Needs 33.5 fantasy points. Kuzma was back over 40 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 18, finishing with 43.25 fantasy points. They’ll need him to play a huge game because he’ll have to deal with Anthony Davis for the majority of the night. The scoring is typically there and he can chip in in other categories. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and fairly reliable. But maybe he’s bad on purpose because he doesn’t want to be traded? Just kidding.
