Players costing over $6,667

John Collins (at NY – $8,400): Needs 36 fantasy points. Collins’ salary keeps climbing, but he’s been delivering. And it’s the Knicks. He should be in for a big scoring and rebounding night given the matchup. I wish his salary was a tad lower, but he should be reliable to at least hit value. And his ceiling is high given his usual production and the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, Knicks.

Larry Nance Jr (at TOR – $7,300): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. Nance Jr has entered the starting lineup and it’s been huge for his production. The matchup is tough, but the Raptors are a bit banged up in the frontcourt. And like I’ve been saying, someone has to get easy points and rebounds for the Cavaliers. Plus, Nance Jr has been chipping in with assists and defense. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, but he’s red hot and has a high ceiling.

Pascal Siakam (vs CLE – $6,900): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. Siakam had 41.4 fantasy points against the Pacers on Dec. 19. With Ibaka out of the lineup, there are more opportunities for him. The Cavaliers have been playing better, but Siakam has been a reliable option all season. And he remains at a reasonable salary given his usual production and ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup, good ceiling.
