Premier League match day 18 wraps up on Sunday with Everton hosting Tottenham at Goodison Park. The Toffees are in a tight race for a Europa League race, with 24 points in their first 17 games. Spurs are third with 39 points, six points behind Liverpool.
Everton lost 1-0 to Manchester City last weekend. The Toffees have not won any of their last four games and have only picked up nine points in their last seven games. Marco Silva will have to tighten up his team’s defense against Spurs. Everton have only kept three clean sheets this season. Up front, Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson have combined for 14 goals this season and will lead the attack on Sunday.
Tottenham won their third straight game last weekend, beating Burnley 1-0. Spurs have won six of their last seven games to keep pace with the two clubs ahead of them, Liverpool and Manchester City, and remain ahead of Chelsea and Arsenal. Harry Kane is again having a strong season and leads all Tottenham players with nine goals this season. In his career, Kane has been excellent against Everton, scoring seven goals in eight career games. Kane has scored a brace in three straight games against Everton. Spurs will rely on Kane to have another great game and lead the line against Everton.
