Saints are dancing on everyone’s grave after clinching home-field

After a thrilling victory that locked up home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, the Saints are partying down in New Orleans.

When JuJu Smith-Schuster fumbled at the New Orleans’ 35-yard line and Demario Davis hopped on the loose ball, a party started that won’t end any time soon.

The fumble recovery iced a 31-28 come-from-behind victory for the Saints, one that helped them clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The road to Super Bowl LIII will now run through the Big Easy.

Just as they have after other big wins this season, the Saints broke out the dance moves in the locker room. Even head coach Sean Payton got in on the fun.

This isn’t the first time Payton has been spotted busting out his best moves with the players. After the Saints beat the Panthers in last year’s playoffs – their third victory over Carolina in as many tries that season – Payton celebrated the sweep by dancing with a broom.

Locker room dance parties have become quite regular for the Saints in recent weeks. In particular, backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s “Bike Life” dance has become a viral sensation.

After Antonio Brown scored his second touchdown of the day Sunday, he broke out the dance that Bridgewater made famous in football circles. Fittingly, Michael Thomas countered by performing the dance himself after scoring the game-winning touchdown.

The party will rage on for at least a few more weeks in New Orleans. This win ensured that the next time the Saints would have to leave home would be for the Super Bowl in Atlanta in February. Since Brees and Payton have been in New Orleans, the Saints have played five playoff games at home in the Superdome. Their record in those games? 5-0.

The party has just started down in the Big Easy. And it may not end for a while.
