DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 25, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Russell Westbrook (at HOU – $10,300): Needs 47.4 fantasy points. You can pretty much assume that Westbrook will end up with a triple-double. His scoring has been all over the place, but the rebounds and assists are there without a doubt. And the scoring opportunities will always be there. With no Chris Paul hounding him, Westbrook should have an easier time on Christmas. He needs a big game, but he’ll deliver a big a game. Diagnosis: It’s Westbrook against a defense that shouldn’t quite be trusted. He’ll produce.
Steph Curry (vs LAL – $9,000): Needs 41.1 fantasy points. There are few players Curry likes to embarrass more than LeBron. He didn’t see much of the Lakers last year, playing in just one of four games. Lonzo Ball will make life tough on him, but really, no one makes life all that tough on Curry. When his shot is falling, there just isn’t much you can do about him. This feels like it’s going to be a big game for Curry and probably a big game for the Warriors as a team. The Lakers are reeling right now. Diagnosis: Typically reliable and always a high ceiling with his shooting.
Eric Bledsoe (at NY – $6,800): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. Bledsoe has been down in recent games, but I’m not worried. Mainly because the Bucks get the Christmas gift of the Knicks. Bledsoe has been at 48 fantasy points in both games against the Knicks this season. The matchup is a great one and Bledsoe should put up solid numbers in all categories, especially if Malcolm Brogdon doesn’t play. Diagnosis: Reliable, great matchup, high ceiling.
