The Tennessee Titans beat the Washington Redskins this past Thursday night, keeping their hopes alive in the AFC Playoffs. They were able to beat the Redskins despite the fact that Marcus Mariota had to leave the game due to injury, as Blaine Gabbert led them to the victory.

The Titans made it into the playoffs last season, and were able to beat the Kansas City Chiefs on the road in the Wild Card Round. If the Titans are to make the playoffs this year, they will need a healthy Mariota, as Gabbert has yet to show he can be a consistent quarterback at the NFL level.

When it comes time for the 2019 NFL Draft, the Titans will likely be picking at No. 20, or even later, and should look to get better on the defensive line. One player who should hear their name called in the first round in April is Dexter Lawrence, whoĀ  got some bad news this past week as the Clemson Tigers prepared for the College Football Playoff.

Lawrence failed the drug test administered before the CFP, and is the B-sample comes back positive, he could be suspended for an entire year. That won’t matter, however, as Lawrence is expected to declare early for the 2019 NFL Draft, and the suspension in college will do little to hurt his place as a first round talent in this draft class.
