The Minnesota Vikings are still very much alive in the NFC Playoff race, a year after making it to the NFC Championship Game. They have continued to hang on despite a big push from the Philadelphia Eagles, but will need to finish out strong in Week 17 if they are going to hang on to their spot.

They have played a lot better on both sides of the ball in recent weeks, and are finally showing some kind of commitment to the run game. Minnesota struggled early on to play consistent football on both sides of the ball, but their defense has really stepped up lately, and are once again a major strength of the team.

Still, they could use some help on that side of the ball, and should look to bring in an outside linebacker with their first round pick in April. Anthony Barr figures to test the free agent market this offseason, so adding a guy like Devin Bush from Michigan would fill a potential void in the starting lineup in 2019.

Bush has already declared for the 2019 NFL Draft, and is certain to hear his name called in the first round, or early second. He is not only a solid tackler, but also is very adept at getting after the quarterback, and the Vikings need to make sure they continue to ensure the defense is a strength of this franchise moving forward.
