The sharpest players, defined by the respect major books in Vegas and the islands give their bets, are setting up the December 26 bowl game between Minnesota and Georgia Tech giving us some great CFB Fantasy Picks and a possible upset winner.

Georgia Tech opened -4, but as nearly 80% of public bets are laying the favorite the line has progressed to 5 1/2 with some 6’s in remote books.  Meanwhile the sharps have been capping the advance, grabbing the +6 when they see it. This has the makings of a trap on the public so lets concentrate our CFB Fantasy Picks on the Golden Gophers and stay ahead of the madding crowd.

Tanner Morgan ($6200), QB
The Minnesota offense is geared toward the run game with Morgan not usually garnering many fantasy points.  He is a low-cost outlier who will be very under owned and if he surprises will give you a massive advantage.  Nowhere near a key play but roster in some tournaments.

Mohamed Ibrahim ($7900), RB
The offense runs thru him.  He averages over 20 carries and posts more than 20 points per game, and while the defense will be geared to stop him so has every other defense without good results.  He is key in our CFB Fantasy Picks.

Bryce Williams ($4300), RB
AS an RB2 he provides a 20+ point ceiling but also a very low floor.  Worth a shot in some tournaments as a bargain price flyer because he does handle short yardage TD’s.

Tyler Johnson ($7700) and Rashod Bateman ($5700), WR’s
The top 2 WR’s respectively with tremendous upside potential and almost no floor.  Good stacks with QB Morgan in tournaments only.

Seth Green ($3600), WR
Listed as a WR but used as a RB.  Averages 7 carries a game and will cover salary based expectations if he scores.

Other honorable mentions:

Alexander Mattison ($8800), Boise State RB
The Broncos’ offense runs thru him, and he looks good to excel and top his heavy price tag.  He is a CFB Fantasy Picks key play and a must roster for me.

David Bailey ($4100) and Travis Levy ($3700) Boston College RB’s
If top RB AJ Dillon is still hobbled by his bad ankle, these two will split carries as lead backs and are both under-priced.
