FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 26, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Kemba Walker (at BKN – $9,800): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. Walker had 37.6 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 23. He’s been solid for most of this season, has shown a very high ceiling and gets a good matchup. Kemba should get his points in this one while also chipping in with a number of assists to boost his value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a very high ceiling. The matchup is a good one.
De’Aaron Fox (at LAC – $8,200): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. I see no reason to doubt Fox right now. He’s been over 40 fantasy points in his last three games, which includes a 57.6 fantasy point effort against the Thunder on Dec. 19. He had 41.1 fantasy points against the Clippers on Nov. 29. Until he shows signs of slowing down, keep taking him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling and a good matchup.
Kris Dunn (vs MIN – $7,600): Needs 32 fantasy points. Maybe this qualifies as a revenge game for Dunn, maybe it doesn’t. He did have a game against the Timberwolves last season where he had 30 fantasy points in 29 minutes. But this is a different Dunn and different Timberwolves squad. Dunn is looking healthy and playing very well right now. And the matchup is good. If he’s thinking revenge, that’s even better news for his value. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and matchup.
