The Boston College Eagles and the Boise State Broncos are headed to Dallas, Texas and will meet in the 2018 First Responder Bowl. Here’s what you need to know to watch the game.

The Boston College Eagles got off to a rather impressive start during the 2018 college football season. Nine games into the year and Boston College held a 7-2 record and was looking to gain national attention by upsetting the Clemson Tigers. Boston College’s moment in the sun resulted in a 20-point loss and the Eagles finished the season by losing three straight, ending the year at 7-5.

The Boise State Broncos experienced success all throughout the season and had themselves another 10-win year. Boise State has now won at least 10 games under Bryan Harsin in four of the last five seasons. And now the Broncos are looking to finish the year with a solid bowl win down in Dallas.

If Boston College were to find a way to pull off an upset here and beat the Broncos, star running back AJ Dillon will need to have a big game. BC hasn’t been great through the air this year and has often relied upon Dillon’s legs to move the ball. Given that he has 1,108 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns this season, it’s fair to expect him to get several carries in this game.

Boise State will have a couple of options to try and take Boston College down with. Quarterback Brett Rypien has been efficient and is relatively error free. He’s thrown 30 touchdowns and completed 67.3 percent of his passes. On the ground, the Broncos will use Alexander Mattison, who has run for 1415 yards and 17 touchdowns.
