Possibly the largest continuous move in college bowl history, West Virginia opened -7 1/2 and now the other side, Syracuse, is favored by 2 1/2 and going higher. This move was prompted by West Virginia QB Will Grier deciding not to play in order to prepare for the NFL draft.

What’s amazing is the line did not come off the board. Cris Sportsbook took bets all the way up the ladder and has a huge interest in West Virginia winning and covering as many points as possible thru 7 1/2.  Let’s concentrate our CFB Fantasy Plays around this game.
The total started at 74 and dropped to 66 but is still by far the highest of the 3 games.

Jack Allison and Trey Lowe, QB’s for WV
WV intends on using both these QB’s making rostering either one very difficult.  However because of this, not many people will be using these guys and should one find the groove you could be standing alone with a huge winner.

Kennedy McKoy, RB for WV
Close to a must play with more emphasis on the running game likely.  Although there has been no correlation between McKoy and Grier, he does catch some passes and figures to be more involved with check-downs.

David Sills, WR for WV
Clearly the best receiver when Grier was the QB, but now it’s anyone’s guess going forward.

Marcus Simms, Trevon Wesco – WR’s for WV
Both viable lower cost options.  They are a long shot roster but may connect well with one of the new QB’s.

Eric Dungey, QB for SYR
The offense runs through him and he can score running TD’s as well.  The RB and WR positions are filled with multiple players of around the same skill level.  This gives Dungey plenty of weapons but makes it difficult to roster others from Syracuse.

Sleepers on the CFB Fantasy Plays slate:

David Blough ($7300), QB for Purdue
A solid performer at a reasonable price.  The offense runs through him; he will fill the air with footballs and pile up some points.

Max Borghi ($5400), RB for Washington State
Gets carries but also is best used as a receiver. Too low a price on him.

Davontavean Martin ($4900), WR for Washington State
He’s number 1 on the depth chart and is a tournament play only.  He can dud but he can also explode for huge points.
