Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Friday night December 28th! After last nights massive 13 game slate we get a much smaller 3 game slate for Friday night. 

Out of the 26 teams playing on Thursday’s NHL DFS schedule, only Columbus has a back 2 back, they host the Torono Maple Leafs tonight. We also have the Islanders and Senators meeting and Montreal tangles with the Panthers.

NHL DFS Goalies:

With such a small slate I am just going to give you my top goalie I will most likely be playing tonight. Roberto Luongo ($7,600)  is my top choice in net for the night. Bobby Lou has won 3 of his last 4 starts. In his 3 wins he’s allowed only 6 goals, but allowed 5 in the loss. Montreal is 2-2 in their last 4 games and has only scored 7 goals in their last 4 games.

NHL DFS Top Plays:

Auston Matthews ($8,100) – Matthews has come back down to earth, but a matchup with the Blue Jackets has me thinking multi -moint game. In his last 5 games Matthews has 3 goals and 4 assists. Toronto has scored 26 goals over the Leafs last 5 games.

Cam Atkinson ($7,500) – Atkinson has scored in 4 straight games 4 goals and assist and is averaging over 7 FPPG.

Mathew Barzal ($6,100) – Barzal has 2 goals and 6 assists in his last 10 games and is averaging 3.6 FPPG in the teams last 10 games.

Justin Huberdeau ($5,900) – Huberdeau comes into tonight’s game severely underpriced at $5,900. In his last 10 Huberdeau has 3 goals and 11 assists while averaging 4.6 FPPG and playing over 20 mins TOI.

Paul Byron ($4,800) – Byron plays wig on the Canadiens top line with Max Domi and Jonathan Drouin. Byron has goals in back to back games and will look to keep their streak going.

Ryan Pulock ($4,700) – Pulock as been playing great for the Islanders of late with 5 assists in the last 4 games while playing over 23 minutes for the Islanders 2nd D pair and 2nd PP unit

These 6 teams are not some of the top fantasy teams in the league so it will be difficult to build quality lineups tonight. I will most likely start with stacking the Columbus/Toronto matchup and filing in the rest with the other two games.
