FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 29, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kevin Durant (at POR – $10,700): Needs 44.7 fantasy points. Durant had 58.5 fantasy points against the Blazers on Dec. 27. When the Warriors are healthy, you know what you’re getting from Durant on most nights. He’s a reliable option because the scoring is always going to be there for him. And he almost always chips in with assists and rebounds. And the ceiling is high because he’s Kevin Durant. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling.
Danilo Gallinari (vs SA – $7,100): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Gallinari had 41.5 fantasy points against the Lakers on Friday. As always, you know what you’re getting with Gallinari. He’s a reliable option with a high ceiling due to his ability to score the basketball. Both teams are on a back-to-back, but the Clippers didn’t have to travel, just move to the other locker room. That should help them out on Saturday. Diagnosis: Very reliable and a good ceiling.
TJ Warren (vs DEN – $7,000): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Warren was down to 18.4 fantasy points against the Thunder on Friday. But he’s your only other option at this position due to injuries and the position being rather weak overall. Maybe Friday was just an off night. Warren still gets plenty of minutes and shots, which is the good news. He’s a slight risk based on his performance on Friday, but a good ceiling. Diagnosis: Minutes and opportunities will be there. The ceiling is good, but a slight risk.
