Fulham face Huddersfield at Craven Cottage on Saturday, Dec. 29. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

The second half of the Premier League season kicks off with a game between the two worst teams. Huddersfield ended the first half of the season in the Premier League basement, picking up only 10 points in their first 19 games. Fulham spent the majority of the first half of the season in the basement but were able to climb above Huddersfield. On Saturday, Fulham host Huddersfield at Craven Cottage. At stake are a valuable three points that could help the winner emerge from the relegation zone. While a loss on Saturday could doom that team to the English Championship next season.

Fulham conceded a late goal to Wolves and had to settle for a draw on Wednesday. In the seven games since Claudio Ranieri took over, Fulham have six points. While six points in seven games is not an impressive number, it is more points than the Cottagers picked up in their first 12 games of the season. Ranieri has been able to improve Fulham’s defense in his six weeks with the club. In the first 12 games of the season, Fulham allowed 31 goals. In the seven games under Ranieri, they have only conceded 12 goals. Up front, Andre Schurrle and Aleksandar Mitrovic have had strong seasons, combining for 12 goals. The Cottagers will lean on Schurrle and Mitrovic to score goals against Huddersfield.

While Fulham’s problems have been keeping the ball out of their own net, Huddersfield cannot put the ball into the oppositions net. The Terriers are last in the Premier League, scoring only 12 goals. Center-back Zenka leads the club with three goals this season. Huddersfield lost 3-1 against Manchester United on Wednesday and have lost six straight games.

Huddersfield defeated Fulham 1-0 in the previous meeting this season. However, since the start of the 2014-15 season, that is Huddersfield only victory over Fulham. The Cottagers have won four games, while the other two games have ended in draws.
