The end of the 2018 NFL regular season is almost here, and the 2019 NFL Draft order is almost about to be solidified. Here’s the current order.
The 2019 NFL regular season is about to come to a close, and as 12 teams prepare themselves for a run to Atlanta, the other 20 teams are either preparing to fire their head coaches and (or) huddling in the war room for the NFL Draft.
For some teams, this is pretty much a regular routine. Take the Cleveland Browns for example, who, after having a breakout season behind their new franchise quarterback Baker Mayfield, will more than likely miss the playoffs for the 16th consecutive season.
That’s 16 years of looking forward to the NFL Draft instead of getting ready for a playoff run, so they have this whole postseason routine down pat. Another team that has had the whole “playing for the Draft” routine is the Buffalo Bills, who has gone even longer than the Browns, only making the playoffs once since 1999.
Do you know how much the world has changed since then?
Unfortunately for the Browns and Bills, they won’t be in the running for the top pick this season. That honor could go to the Arizona Cardinals, who have had a season that they would really like to forget.
Oh, and the San Francisco 49ers and the dumpster fire that is the Oakland Raiders are also in the hunt for that coveted No. 1 pick. Here’s the 2019 NFL Draft order as it stands now.
