Following last weekend’s shocking away win at Manchester City, Palace came back to earth with a 0-0 tie at home to lowly Cardiff City. Roy Hodgson’s men have the potential and the attacking firepower to beat the best of the Premier League, but they have not proven able to do it on a consistent basis. Keeper Wayne Hennessy along with Martin Kelly return from injury, while Cristian Benteke remains out.
Chelsea have won three of their last four but remain somewhat inconsistent, only winning four of the last eight. They remain over-reliant on the play of Eden Hazard, who has been involved in (either scored or assisted on) a league-high 19 goals. Pedro will be out with a hamstring injury sustained on Boxing Day in the win against Watford.
