Serge Ibaka (vs CHI – $5,700): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. Ibaka had 39 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 28. The Raptors laid a dud in that game, but they have a big opportunity to bounce back on Sunday because they get the Bulls. This should be another strong game for Ibaka. He’s always been streaky and the hope is that he’s hot again after playing the Magic. Diagnosis: A bit inconsistent, but a high ceiling.
Nemanja Bjelica (at LAL – $5,300): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. Bjelica has been good over the last two games, going over 30 fantasy points in both contests. Minutes are not an issue for him and he can do a bit of everything. His salary has jumped up a bit, which makes him slightly less desirable, but the matchup is good and he’s fairly reliable. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jerami Grant (at DAL – $5,000): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. Grant has been over 32 fantasy points in his last two games. Much like Bjelica, he gets plenty of minutes and opportunities and has a good ceiling with his rebounding and defense. He’s also at a very nice salary. I continue to love Grant’s overall game and he’s been one of the sneakier reliable options this season. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling. If DeAndre Jordan is out, that will help his game.
