High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,667

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs DET – $12,400): Needs 52.3 fantasy points. Giannis has been over 67 fantasy points in his last three games. As always, you typically know what you’re going to get from Giannis. He’s going to be around value at the very least and the ceiling is much higher because he’s Giannis and he’s extremely good. He had 53.9 fantasy points in just 31 minutes against the Pistons on Dec. 17. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a very high ceiling. You can always build around Giannis.

Kawhi Leonard (vs UTA – $10,000): Needs 42.2 fantasy points. Leonard has been down in his last two games, but I’m still not concerned. This is the type of game he was brought to Toronto for. These tough matchups where the defense is locked in and they need buckets from a superstar. Leonard will come through in this game. Expect a strong bounce back performance from him in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable in this matchup and a high ceiling.

Danilo Gallinari (vs PHI – $7,100): Needs 30 fantasy points. If you don’t want the super high salary guys, you can always go with the affordable option who should still be at value because he’s been a reliable option all season. You rarely have to worry about the production of Gallinari. He does plenty with his scoring and rebounding and can always boost his ceiling with a big scoring game. The matchup is tough, at least on paper. But the Sixers could be in trouble if they got caught up hanging with the Jenner-Kardashians. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
