The Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns clash in a massive showdown of two powerhouse programs in the 2019 Sugar Bowl on Tuesday evening.
Near the end of the college football regular season, it appeared as if the Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns could be headed towards the College Football Playoff. After late losses, however, that changed. Now, they’ll meet up in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in the 2019 Sugar Bowl on Tuesday night.
For the second-straight year, Georgia was exceptionally close to beating Alabama this season. They had the Crimson Tide on the ropes, but were thwarted after Jalen Hurts came in and topped them. Even still, that shows you the level of talent that the Bulldogs have coming into this game against the Longhorns.
The bulks of the talent for Georgia falls on offense, especially with cornerback Deandre Baker skipping the Sugar Bowl. Quarterback Jake Fromm is a beast, but so too are the weapons he has around him such as D’Andre Swift, Elijah Holyfield, Riley Ridley, Mecole Hardman and many more. The Bulldogs can attack on every level with great ferocity.

While the Texas defense leaves a lot to be desired, they have a ton of talent on offense. Quarterback Sam Ehlinger is a big-time gamer that makes plays seemingly at will. With weapons like Collin Johnson and Lil’Jordan Humphrey aiding him on that side of the ball.
