DFS NBA Turbo/Express Slate Top 5: Wednesday, January 2nd – Cash Game Core

Karl-Anthony Towns $9,600 DK / $10,500 FD

With the injury news of Covington, Rose, and Teague listed out for tonight, get ready to load up on the Timberwolves on this three game slate. Towns will be in nearly all of my lineups as a core play.

The last four games KAT produced 69.8, 86.5, 70.3, and 52 DKFP playing over 35 minutes each game and recording a double-double in each game. The last two game he shot over 20 attempts and has combined for 15 3PA.  KAT has amazing cash value with plenty of room for upside.

Andrew Wiggins $6,200 DK/ $6,400 FD

Similar to KAT, Wiggins is going to have an immense usage bump with his fellow players resting. Last four games Wiggins produced 31, 24, 33, and 19.8 DKFP. Last game he shot over twenty attempts and went for 8 threes.

Boston is also giving up the most points to Small Forwards the last five games. With Wiggins, constantly playing over 30 minutes a game, feel confident rostering him alongside KAT.

Tyus Jones $5,600 DK/ $6,300 FD

Jones is still too cheap for his current price tag on Draftkings. Last two games he started, he produced 41 and 34 DKFP shooting 6-of-11 and 5-of-12 FGM/A.

With Irving listed out, Jones will be able to pave the way to another successful night. I will be loading up on this game for the turbo slate, hoping it stays competitive.

DFS NBA Turbo/Express Slate Top 5: Wednesday, January 2nd

Marcus Morris $6,000 DK/ $5,500 FD

With the news of Irving listed out for tonight, the usage is going to fall on the rest of the teammates to keep up with the Timberwolves. Morris should be receiving the largest bump in production with out Irving.

Morris has shot in the double digits the last 9 games and has produced single digit points in only one of those games. Look for Morris to attempt more shots, have more minutes, and try and tame the currently on fire KAT.

Gorgui Dieng $3,300 DK/ $3,900 FD

Dieng is going to see his full workload tonight with the current injuries of Teague, Rose, and Covington. At his current price tag on Draftkings it will be hard to avoid rostering him with the upside he can provide.

The last two games Dieng played over 20 minutes he produced over 24 DKFP each game.  Look for a similar result with more upside tonight versus a banged up Celtics team.
