High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Tyus Jones (at BOS – $6,300): Needs 26.9 fantasy points. Jones has been over 38 fantasy points in both games as a starter. As long as he keeps starting, you can continue to take him with confidence. The minutes are going to be there and he does a bit of everything on most nights. The Celtics will be a tough matchup, but someone has to run point for Minnesota and he’s the only guy left standing. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable and a good ceiling.

Tomas Satoransky (vs ATL – $6,200): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. With Wall out of the lineup, Satoransky will continue to get big minutes from the point guard position. He was up to 32.8 fantasy points against the Hornets on Dec. 29. His salary has jumped way up, and that’s worrying, but he’s still at a good position and he gets to face the Hawks. Even at the higher salary, this should be a strong game from him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Terry Rozier (vs MIN – $4,300): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. This is all about the circumstances. If Kyrie Irving doesn’t end up playing, take Rozier with confidence. He’s proven that he can step up in the starting role and he’s at a great salary for the minutes and opportunities he is sure to receive as a member of the starting lineup. If Irving ends up playing, he’s a risk because he hasn’t exactly produced often in the bench role. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if Irving is out.
