High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jerami Grant (at LAL – $5,800): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. Grant has been over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. His offense largely depends on how Westbrook is feeling, but his defense is there thanks to the Thunder being an active defensive team. And with the Lakers frontcourt issues, this feels like a big game for Grant with his defense and scoring. Diagnosis: Love this matchup and he has a good ceiling.

Marcus Morris (vs MIN – $5,500): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. Morris continues to play well as a member of the starting lineup and now he salary has dropped. He should have no issue getting you value at this salary and he’ll probably do a bit more given the matchup. His scoring will be there and he’ll chip in with some rebounds and maybe an assist for two. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a reliable option.

JaMychal Green (vs DET – $4,700): Needs 20.1 fantasy points. I typically like Triple J in this position, but his minutes are all over the place and not guaranteed right now. Green’s minutes are largely the same but are a bit more guaranteed and he’s not going to hurt you as much due to his salary. I expect a strong game from one of them given the matchup. Diagnosis: Great matchup, but inconsistent due to lack of minutes.
