2019 NFL mock draft: Giants take Dwayne Haskins
By Brad Weiss
The Indianapolis Colts were one of the worst teams in football last season as they struggled mightily with Andrew Luck missing the entire season with a shoulder injury. Well, Luck is officially back in 2018, and he will likely be this year’s winner of the Comeback Player of the Year Award before all is said and done.
With Luck back in the lineup, the Colts are back to being a playoff team, and for a while there, the Colts looked to be one of the best teams in the AFC. Now that they have clinched a Wild Card berth with their Sunday Night Football win over the Tennessee Titans, it is anybody’s guess how far they can go, as Luck is one of the more elite passers in football.
The Colts have looked very good on both sides of the ball this season, but they could use some help on the edge moving forward. One player who should be a first round pick in April is Brian Burns from Florida State, who has been one of the best pass rushers in college football over the last couple of seasons.
Indianapolis is here to stay, and Frank Reich looks to be an excellent hire, leading the team to the playoffs in his first season as head coach. The Colts will take on the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round this weekend, and if I were the Texans, I would want no part in facing Luck, who is on a mission this season.
