The Jacksonville Jaguars made it all the way to the AFC Championship Game last season, and the hope was they could take the next step forward in 2018. However, they struggled mightily on both sides of the ball, and got an absolutely terrible effort from Blake Bortles, whose run as the team’s starting quarterback is essentially over.

With their first round pick in 2019, the Jaguars could decide to move up and select a quarterback, as they would have to be picking a bit earlier if they hope for Dwayne Haskins, the top signal-caller in the draft. He will likely head to New York to succeed Eli Manning, so the Jaguars could wind up picking their next quarterback in free agency.

At No. 7 overall, there is still a ton of talent left in this draft class, and the Jaguars may want to add a player to replace the traded Dante Fowler Jr. One player who could be utilized in a similar role is Josh Allen from Kentucky, who is a beast off the edge, and a fantastic tackler from his outside linebacker position.

This Jaguars team came into the season as a Super Bowl ready team, but the struggles with Bortles, and injuries to both sides of the ball ended that noise real quick. Tom Coughlin is going to want to turn this thing around in a hurry, and adding a top talent like Allen would help improve the defense immediately.
