Nemanja Bjelica (vs DEN – $5,300): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Bjelica was up to 40 fantasy points against the Blazers on Jan. 1. I continue to like various players on the Kings because their pace just lends itself to high numbers in DFS. And Bjelica can do a bit of everything. I like this matchup as well because Denver plays with plenty of pace as well. Diagnosis: High ceiling and fairly reliable.
Danuel House Jr (at GS – $4,300): Needs 19.8 fantasy points. House Jr has been over 24 fantasy points in his last three games. And he was over 30 fantasy points in both games against the Warriors last season. So maybe this is just his matchup? Minutes aren’t really an issue and he’s shooting very well right now. Diagnosis: Red hot and has a weird history of success against the Warriors. So, why not?
Davis Bertans (vs TOR – $3,800): Needs 17.5 fantasy points. Bertans had 27.25 fantasy points against the Celtics on Dec. 31. He typically gets solid minutes and enough shots. And this just feels like a game where he hits a handful of 3s because a weird role player always steps up in games like this. Bertans can be that role player. Diagnosis: Decent ceiling and minutes aren’t there. Won’t kill you and could hit big.
