In a game loaded with talent between Alabama and Clemson, these positional battles will decide who wins the National Championship Game.Ā

Monday’s National Championship game will see the 19th meeting between the Clemson Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide, with all four meetings occurring in a similar situation: in the College Football Playoff, and in the last four years. Alabama holds the all-time advantage in the series by a massive amount, controlling the competition 14-4, with a 2-1 mark in the teams’ three playoff meetings.

Both are coming off of College Football Playoff semi-final wins that were just as impressive as their respective seasons were, with both teams touting dynamic talent in almost every position on the field. Not only do both teams have solid lines on both sides of the ball, but they have excellent depth at just about every position.

In what could be one of the best games of recent college football history, we see two dynamic teams line up on both sides of the ball, clashing for the fourth time in the last four years.

The two teams undefeated teams last met in the Allstate Sugar Bowl in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, with Alabama dominating the game by a score of 24-6.

This year’s matchup looks to be much more competitive, and the team that emerges victorious from the battle of the two undefeated teams could join the elite ranks of teams in college football history.
