Welcome to NHL DFS Man Advantage for Friday night January 4th! Tonight we have a 7 games for the DraftKings main slate. This is an interesting slate with a lot of the top goaltenders in the league playing, like Rinne, Murray, Bobrovsky, and Fleury, but we also seem to have a very top-heavy list of players to use in our lineups. I have dug through the lists of players for tonight’s games and hopefully found some gems for you to use tonight.

We have some pretty entertaining NHL DFS games on tap as well with teams like Winnipeg and Pittsburgh battling in the Steel City as well Washington and Dallas tangling in the city that is hosting the 2020 Winter Classic.

NHL DFS Goalies:

Tonight my top goalie is an under priced Matt Murray ($7,800) based on how well he’s been playing. Getting a home game against a Winnipeg team that has only scored 13 goals in their last 6 games. Murray himself is on a 6 game win streak (Pittsburgh has won 7 straight) and has only allowed 9 goals in those 6 games.

My two other top choices behind Murray are Sergei Bobrovsky ($8,200) @ Carolina on the second night of a back to back who are only 2.6 G/PG and Marc-Andre Fleury ($7,600) @ Anaheim, who have only scored 9 goals in their last 6 and are averaging 2.5 G/PG.

Three other goalies I am interested in, but seem to be more GPP options for me are

NASHVILLE, TN – OCTOBER 27: Viktor Arvidsson #33 of the Nashville Predators skates against the Edmonton Oilers during the third period of a 5-3 Oilers victory at Bridgestone Arena on October 27, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. (Photo by Frederick Breedon/Getty Images)

NHL DFS Top Individual Players

High Tier:

Sidney Crosby ($7,600) – Sid the Kid is playing at a level only he and a couple of others are a capable of playing at right now. Crosby has points in 9 of the Pens last 10 games, totaling 18 points (4 goals 14 assists) and is back playing with Jake Guentzel and Bryan Rust  which makes them my number one line stack, or you can go expensive with Phil Kessel for a PP line stack.

Viktor Arvidsson ($7,000) –  Arvidsson has 11 goals and 17 points over his last 17 games. He’s scoring at a high rate while averaging three shots on goal per game. Arvidsson is also logging substantial power-play minutes. He will look to keep his hot streak going Friday night against the Red Wings.

More from FanSided

Tyler Seguin ($6,900) – Since being publicly criticized by Jim Lites, Dallas’ CEO, Seguin has tallied four points in 3 games, including this most recent 2 goal effort. In 21 home games this season Seguin has 20 points and is averaging 5.2 FPPG.

Mid Tier:

Kris Letang ($6,200) –  Crosby isn’t the only fantasy relevant player on the hottest team in the league. Letang comes into Fridays game riding a 5 game point streak totaling 2 goals and 6 assists while also totaling 10 shots on goal and 10 blocked shots

Brandon Pirri ($6,200) – Pirri has been on fire since being recalled from Chicago of the AHL by Vegas. In 7 games for Vegas Pirri has 6 goals and 3 assists.  His 28.6 shooting percentage is not sustainable by any means, but Pirri has been the hottest Golden Knight while the team has won five of its last seven games. Pirri with Paul Stasny and Alex Tuch make for an excellent line stack

Craig Smith ($5,000) – Smith comes into tonight’s game with 1 goal and 3 assists in the last 5 games and has 14 shots on goal. Smith plays wing on the Preds second line as well as on the teams 2nd PP unit.

Value Tier:

Jakob Silfverberg ($4,100) – In the Ducks last 3 games Silfverberg has a goal and an assist while averaging 3 FPPG. Silfverberg plays on the Ducks 3rd line and 2nd PP unit and averages a little over 14 minutes per game.

Miles Wood ($3,300) – In a game featuring two of the leagues worst teams that could end up high scoring is a place I like to look for value. Wood comes in with 1 goal and 2 assists in the Devils last four games and is averaging over 3 FPPG and has taken 12 shots on goal in that span.

Tyler Pitlick ($3,200) – Pitlick is riding a 4 game point streak with 3 goals and an assist in the last 4 to go along with 13 shots on goal while playing on the Stars 3rd line.

NHL DFS Line Stacks:

Colorado 1 – Playing this line against the Rangers back up goalie could win you some big $

Columbus 1

Detroit 3

Washington 2

Dallas 1

Arizona 2
